Static Creative Brief: Helping Homeowners Compare Insulation Quotes

Three headline variants · Proposed layout

C01 · Right Work FirstA02 · Compare the Same WorkIndependent creative brief

One simple, illustrative scope comparison. Three project-selected headline options. One shared message and next step.

12 October 2026 · Prepared by Marianne Jaen · Completed copy, layout specification and three illustrative renders. Independent portfolio work; no company approval or campaign results.

REFERENCE ANALYSIS

Primary visual reference: Nealon Insulation’s quote-comparison graphic. Source article · Original image. The supplied 1200 × 675 image was inspected on 12 October 2026; its lower price area is cropped.

Third-party website graphic, not a verified paid Meta ad. Image origin and depicted workers are unverified.

Why it connects

Same service category, same quote-comparison task. The document treatment makes the work behind each quote visible.

What stays Advanced’s own

C01 → A02, persona, offer and project-selected headlines remain unchanged. Our neutral attic-versus-attic-and-basement example replaces the source’s materials and price comparison.

No source imagery will appear in the Advanced ad. Its work scenes do not establish installation accuracy or customer results.

Verified Meta record · inspection scope

Directly observed in Meta Ads Library on 12 October 2026, approximately 00:35–00:40 Winnipeg time: Advanced Insulation / AdvancedInsulationMB; Canada filter; All ads; Active ads; all media. Meta displayed Active and a 29 April 2026 start date. The selected static image, primary copy and visible “Book now” CTA were inspected in the ad detail view.

The inspected image showed attic insulation, three installation photos, brand identification and a lower rebate-message area. Other assets under the additional-assets control were not inspected in this reference check. The link above opens the advertiser’s page-wide results; use the exact ad ID to identify the record. The copy-link control did not return a usable individual link. No spend, conversions, profitability or independent verification of ad claims is available.

Meta access is demonstrated by the inspected record. Ad provenance, relevance to A02 and safe adaptation are separate judgments. Nealon supplies the comparison layout; Advanced’s real ad supplies limited service-presentation context. C01 → A02 remains the project-selected strategy.

HYPOTHESIS

For an older-home owner comparing insulation quotes, a visible difference in the areas covered may make scope easier to compare and make a quote enquiry feel more useful. This is worth testing; it is not a demonstrated conversion result.

DESIRE

Choose appropriate work with a clear reason for doing it.

PERSONA

An owner planning insulation for an older home who is unsure which work to choose, including when quotes cover different areas or preparation. This execution addresses the quote-comparing subset in Winnipeg.

OFFER

Request Advanced Insulation’s published free, no-obligation quote for an insulation project. This starts an enquiry; it does not promise free installation, a diagnostic visit, price matching or a competitor-quote review.

AWARENESS

Solution-Aware. They know insulation is an option. They still need a useful way to compare the proposed work before choosing.

CONCEPT

Concept: the central creative idea.

C01 · Right Work First — Help an older-home owner who is unsure what to fix use a free, no-obligation insulation quote to understand the proposed scope before committing.

ANGLE

Angle: the specific persuasive argument.

A02 · Compare the Same Work — Show why comparing the work covered by each quote helps the owner choose more wisely than comparing the totals alone.

VOICE

Calm, practical and reassuring brand voice. Explain one useful check without pressure or a claim of authority. This is proposed copy direction, not an approved owner voice guide.

FORMAT

Static + Side-by-side Quote Comparison. Proposed 4:5 feed canvas, 1080 × 1350 px. One image per headline variant; not a carousel. Other placements require separate crop review.

REFERENCE AD

Primary layout reference: Nealon Insulation’s category-relevant website graphic. Adapt its paired-document organisation and visible scope labels into equal, neutral example sheets. This source is not a verified Meta ad.

Secondary verified Meta reference: Advanced Insulation · Ad Library ID 1896356984346367. Adapt clear service/brand identification and a distinct lower message/action area into our brand and quote CTA block. Its rebate argument does not transfer to A02. The exact record and inspection limits appear in Reference Analysis.

The resulting layout remains an independent creative proposal. Keep the project-selected headlines, scope illustration, core message and free-quote invitation.

SCRIPT / COPY

Hook: the opening line that earns attention and introduces the argument. These are three project-selected alternatives, used one at a time.

HEADLINE / HOOK 1 · H01

Two insulation quotes. Do they cover the same work?

First choice
HEADLINE / HOOK 2 · H03

Not sure how to compare your insulation quotes?

Shortlisted alternative
HEADLINE / HOOK 3 · H08

Before choosing the lower insulation quote, check what it includes.

Shortlisted alternative

CORE MESSAGE

Compare the work, not just the totals.

Comparison labels: Example A · Attic
Example B · Attic + basement

Required qualifier: Illustrative example · not real quotes

CTA

Request your free quote.

Offer support: No obligation.

Brand: Advanced Insulation
Local cue: Winnipeg

Conditional alternative and exclusions

H06: “Similar prices don’t always mean the same insulation work.” Substitute for H08 only for a similar-price situation; retain the same scope visual and shared copy. Do not invent prices to illustrate it.

H08 asks what is included; it does not imply a lower quote is worse or predict extra costs.

VISUAL DIRECTIONS

Use a clean document comparison informed by the category reference: two equally weighted scope sheets, each with a clearly visible covered area. Keep the illustration realistic and neutral. No installation scene, worker photograph or quality ranking is needed.

Designer handoff

Keep both sheets equally sized and equally neutral. Highlight the area words with matching weight. Neither sheet is the recommended job or a real Advanced quote.

Use generous space around the headline. Let the two area labels carry the comparison; leave out preparation lists, prices, testimonials, badges and technical specifications.

The product cue is “insulation quotes” plus attic and basement. The local cue is Winnipeg. Do not add a house-age claim or assume either area needs insulation.

The desired feeling is calm clarity. There is no fear, hidden-cost warning or suggestion that a larger scope is automatically better.

Amber, rust and cream are project presentation choices, not verified Advanced Insulation brand standards. Approve the proposed text-only brand treatment before final artwork.

Headline fit was checked using DejaVu Sans Bold, and all three proposed layouts were rendered and reviewed at 360 px width. No line-break, spacing or clipping defect was observed. Keep these font sizes and coordinates together; recheck the final artwork if fonts, wording, proportions or placements change.

Interpretation and creative recommendation

The evidence gives a reason to explore scope clarity. It does not establish how common this need is or whether this execution will convert. “Attic” versus “Attic + basement” is a clearly labelled invented example of scope difference, not a claim about any actual quote, home or required work.

Related strategy

Use the quote page as the proposed destination. The page continues the insulation enquiry, but does not provide a quote-comparison tool or promise to assess another contractor’s quote. The ad must retain the narrow invitation to request a quote for the owner’s project.
